Hi. How are things where you live? It’s hot here. About the last thing I feel like doing at the moment is turning on the stove or oven. I’m craving cold things, like cold cuts, cold noodles, salad, and fruit. And maybe a white wine spritzer. How ’70’s is that?
I realize you don’t really need a recipe to put these things together–any dolt can do it. It just sounds terrific to me in this weather. Cold, cold Greek yogurt, cold, cold fresh berries and something crunchy to set it off. It shouldn’t surprise you that this dessert/breakfast/lunch/whatever was not planned in the least, so what I had on hand was breakfast cereal. You can use any cereal but this Honey Bunches of Oats was nice with sliced almonds in it. You could even add extra nuts if you got ‘em.
Just add all the ingredients in layers: Yogurt, berries, sprinkling of cereal–and repeat. With however much you want to eat. And that’s it. Dessert/breakfast/lunch/whatever is served!
