In the spirit of Christmas, I’m making my first holiday treat. There is no actual recipe card for this one, but I remember them always being on the platter of holiday cookies and candy.
3 ingredients is all you need! I didn’t even have to go to the store.
Split the date with a pairing knife and remove the pit.
Take about a half a tablespoon of creamy peanut butter and put it where the pit used to be.
Close up the date
And roll in granulated sugar.
That’s all there is to it.
I know, this is probably strange-looking.
But the flavor combination is really great and is a nice alternative to a regular cookie.
Nana's Peanut Butter Dates
Ingredients
- 1 package Medjool dates
- Creamy peanut butter
- Granulated sugar, for rolling
Instructions
- Split dates with a pairing knife and remove the pit.
- Fill the center of the date with 1/2 Tbsp peanut butter and close.
- Roll in granulated sugar.
