No time for cooking this week! Instead, lots of work, and lots of work, and lots of work! Yay! Anyway. Luckily, I have a bunch of Nana’s recipes stored up, and even some others that might come in handy if you need some ideas for Thanksgiving.
We will be going to San Jose to my Auntie Anne’s house for the usual: Nana’s special turkey (of which I will divulge the recipe some day), wild rice dressing (ditto), mashed taters, creamed onions, some form of brussels sprouts that will involve deep-fried shallots (yes, I will give you that recipe for sure), Nana’s icebox rolls, Nana’s strawberry jello mold, and a bunch of other stuff. It’s a ridiculous amount of food to be sure.
Here are some links to some other Thanksgiving-y dishes you might like! All lovingly UC-tested and devoured by myself and my loved ones. Have a great meal!
