You’re home. You might be watching TV or reading a book. You get a little peckish, maybe for something sweet? There’s nothing in the house, you say? Well, it IS July, and there might be some fruit laying around. And just the teensiest bit of cream too?
Voila, dessert.

Peaches n’ Cream
Nectarine, peach, strawberries
(or whatever summer fruit you may have on hand–plums, blueberries, etc)
1/4 cup cream
vanilla
honey
………………………..
Cut up fruit into bite sized pieces, as much as you like for one serving and place in a bowl. Do not sugar them unless they are not naturally sweet. Pour cream into a medium bowl and whip with a balloon whisk. When slightly thickened, add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Continue to whip until peaks form.
Spoon the cream over the fruit and drizzle with honey.
