I’ve been reading a blog called The Brick House. It’s written by a gal who lives down in Hemet, CA, and has a regular segment called, you guessed it–Thrifty! By the look at her awesome house she is obviously the Queen of All Thrifting—so while I was down there, I took a page from her book and visited one of her haunts, the local Angel View Thrift Store in Palm Springs. I didn’t find any clothing or anything like that, but I did score some goodies–for what else? Serving up some fine vittles.
First up, this cool bowl with pine cones.
Next up is this wooden snack tray. This was the most expensive purchase of the day at about $14. Not cheap for thrifting, I suppose, but it’s beautiful! And huge.
More cool and cheap serving pieces. Never enough serving pieces for the Undercover Caterer.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot Frosty. He rode home in the backseat.
He’s fitting right into the family over here. Hey Frosty! You’re in my chair!
