I’m feeling generous. I’m also in the mood for a contest. I want to give one of you lucky readers one of my favorite cookbooks, written by my boyfriend (who is dead, btw)—really, my inspiration in the kitchen (besides Nana). Now that I think of it, Nana and James Beard would have probably gotten along swimmingly. You know that thing on the back page of Vanity Fair where they ask some celebrity who they’d invite to dinner? My imaginary dinner guests would certainly include Nana and James Beard. And maybe Divine, just for kicks.
Anyway, here’s the catch:
You have to actually cook an Undercover Caterer recipe—I don’t care if you alter it, make it vegetarian, whatever. Just tell me what you made, if and how you altered it and send me a photograph! You can either send the picture to me via email <undercovercaterer@gmail(dot)com>, or post in on the Undercover Caterer Facebook page. Any photos you email me will end up on the FB page, just FYI.
Deadline will be Monday, April 12th at midnight. Winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 13th.
