Dinner party tonight–I’ve been slaving away for days. Here’s the menu–photos and scintillating commentary to follow this weekend.

Horseradish deviled eggs & cayenne candied bacon
French 75 cocktails

Country terrine served with Dijon (that I brought back from Paris!), cornichons and homemade zucchini pickles
Salad

Tomato tarte tatin (tomatoes from my garden, of course)
Grilled hanger steak
Herb salsa verde

Cheesecake parfaits with local O’Henry peaches and cornmeal shortbread
